We hear of people who are demon-possessed and we know they have spirits that are literally influencing their every move!
However, people can be oppressed by evil spirits and may not even realize they are.
There are many different kinds of spirits and they each have their own trait! These are just a few that are mentioned!
We need to be able to discern the spirits. Discerning spirits is the supernatural ability given by the Holy Spirit to perceive the source of a spiritual manifestation and determine whether it is of God, the flesh, or the devil. 
His spirit bares witness with our spirit when something is or is not if God. The discerning of spirits is a gift which protects and guards your Christian life. 
“Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world. This is how we know if they have the Spirit of God: If a person claiming to be a prophet acknowledges that Jesus Christ came in a real body, that person has the Spirit of God. But if someone claims to be a prophet and does not acknowledge the truth about Jesus, that person is not from God. Such a person has the spirit of the Antichrist, which you heard is coming into the world and indeed is already here. But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. Those people belong to this world, so they speak from the world’s viewpoint, and the world listens to them. But we belong to God, and those who know God listen to us. If they do not belong to God, they do not listen to us. That is how we know if someone has the Spirit of truth or the spirit of deception.”

How to discern if you are influenced by an evil spirit!?
A. Conduct & Actions have Changed
B. Have a Sickness or Disease
C. Anxiety, Depression, Mental Block
D. Confusion, Tiredness
E. Hearing voices in your head
-the list goes on
How to know when someone else is influenced by an evil spirit!
A. Their need to control
B. Pride
C. Self-Centered & Narcissistic
D. Lustful & Seductive
E. Demanding & Manipulating
F. Cannot Stand Criticism
G. Critical, Condescending, Demeaning
H. Good at Lying & Cheating
- the list goes on
Ask God to show you if there is anything that you need revealed! Have Him search your heart! Once it's revealed, take the proper steps in getting rid of evil spirits. (tomorrows post)

How to get rid of an evil spirit:
A. Acknowledge you have allowed a spirit
B. Ask God to forgive you
C. Renounce any legal rights you have given it
D. Command it to leave your body, your house, your territory in Jesus' name!
How to protect yourself from evil spirits:
A. Keep your gates guarded- eyes, ears, & mouth
B. Stay with "like" company
C. Plead the blood of Jesus over your mind & thoughts
D. Don't continue in sin!
E. Clothes yourself with the full armor of God
F. Stay in the Word - Read it! Study it!
You cannot eat from the Lord's table and the devil's table! If God said don't do it, then don't do it! There is no gray or warm area with God! 
But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth! Revelation 3:16
It's very dangerous to play footsie pants with the things of Satan! If you are truly repentant and go a different path, God will honor you! However, those spirits will try to attack you and if they see there is nothing in your home (the void that has to be placed with the Word of God), then they will bring friends with them and you will be worse off than you were!
This is why so many who have been on drugs have cleaned up their life but then go back to that, it's harder to come out again!
And as you notice...alcohol is also called "spirits", swallow that up! 🍺
““When an evil spirit leaves a person, it goes into the desert, searching for rest. But when it finds none, it says, ‘I will return to the person I came from.’ So it returns and finds that its former home is all swept and in order. Then the spirit finds seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they all enter the person and live there. And so that person is worse off than before.””

I was at a football game recently and it was so exciting seeing all the fans dressed up in their favorite gear to cheer on their team.  Outside the stadium were tailgaters grilling up their best barbeque and playing games to pass the time away. After all, it was 5 hours till the gates opened. Funny how fast time flies when you keep yourself busy doing things that you love. Standing STRONG

  Observing social media posts (and my own incident recently) - THUS THE REASON for this post! 😁 I've found majority of people who post are pitiful, selfish, weak little cry babies when it comes to different situations!   It's times we let our hair down and tell it like it is!!! Mom Memories

It's amazing just how much you REALLY need your mom!  Your mom is always the one that you go to for every day questions, maybe cooking questions, maybe just needing knowledge about an issue.
