BE FREE of distractions
In today's world, we have so many distractions. It can be hard to stay focused reading the Bible or praying because there are so many things that are causing our minds to wonder. We may see a good verse and want to "share" it on Facebook or Twitter AND THEN we start wondering what everyone else is up to and end up spending our "God time" wasting "Our time"! In Romans 7:15 Paul tells us, "I don't really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don't do it. Instead, I do what I hate." It is an everyday struggle to do what we know God wants us to do. We are not gaining "points" with God if we DO these things, but it sure puts us in a better place and keeps our faith steady so that we can receive the things God wants us to receive.
