There is HOPE!!!



This time of year, while some are enjoying Christmas shopping, and wrapping presents, Christmas carols, and fun parties, there are others who are not having the jolliest of seasons.

Some are hurting, while others are physically sick. Some are burying loved ones and others just don’t feel the joy they need to.

We must all slow down and remember the REASON for the SEASON! It is the celebration of the birth of our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ!  
            
BECAUSE of God sending HIS ONLY SON for YOU, we can be joyous this Christmas season! THERE IS HOPE! 

Never let Satan lie to you and tell you that there’s no reason to live. He doesn't want you happy. All he wants is to steal from you. He comes to steal, kill, and destroy! (John 10:10a)

BUT THERE IS A REASON TO REJOICE and A REASON TO SHOUT!!!! 

Jesus came and died SO THAT WE CAN LIVE!!!! (John 10:10b)

Jesus came, by the Holy Spirit, through a virgin girl, so that He could live the same life that man lives today. He had every temptation, every desire, everything that we face today BUT HE ALSO HAD THE WORD OF GOD and SPOKE IT! 

We too have the same ability that Jesus had. We have that same power that raised Him from the dead!

He spoke the Word (the Bible) then and we can speak the Word now! 

If you are down, depressed and not certain what to do….JESUS IS THE ANSWER! 

He is the ONLY ONE that can give you the JOY and the PEACE that you need.

There is NO OTHER HUMAN BEING that can do that. We may think that someone can make us happy and we can feel that way, but only temporarily. True JOY comes from JESUS! 

HE IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE! No other god, no other person can be THAT for you! HE IS THE ONE TRUE LIVING GOD and HE LOVES YOU SOOO VERY MUCH!!!!

He came to take away your deepest, darkest sin, and set you FREE! AND HE came to HEAL YOUR body so you are WHOLE! He came to restore your JOY to GIVE YOU PEACE! 

THERE IS HOPE for you TODAY!!! Don’t do it man’s way anymore, it will never work. THE ONLY WAY is GOD’S WAY!

The path your taking right now may seem like its squeezing in on you, the pressures of this world are strong BUT GOD can MAKE A WAY, where there IS NO WAY! 

REACH OUT to HIM TODAY! He is THE ANSWER!! HE IS HOPE! HE IS JOY! HE IS STRENGTH! HE IS LIGHT! AND HE IS LOVE! AND HE LOVES YOU AND wants THE VERY BEST FOR YOU!!! That's the reason for the season....sending HIS SON for YOU so that YOU CAN BE SET FREE!!!

Mom Memories

It's amazing just how much you REALLY need your mom!  Your mom is always the one that you go to for every day questions, maybe cooking questions, maybe just needing knowledge about an issue. Whatever the case, it's awesome just to call your mom and say hello!  After mom (Bonnie Moore a/k/a Dear Grace) moved to Heaven last October, there's many emotions I've had to deal with. You think you're okay and then out-of-the-blue, something jars your memory and there goes the tears. You often catch yourself wanting to give her a call. My mom was a strong woman. I don't ever recall her being ill many times in her life. When she was sick, she would jump right back in the path of life and get busy. She was always helping other people, whether it was cooking meals, feeding their cats, taking them to the Dr, whatever it was, she was joyful in all she did. Mom would find humor in the small things. Football Games and the United States of America

I was at a football game recently and it was so exciting seeing all the fans dressed up in their favorite gear to cheer on their team.  Outside the stadium were tailgaters grilling up their best barbeque and playing games to pass the time away. After all, it was 5 hours till the gates opened. Funny how fast time flies when you keep yourself busy doing things that you love. Once the doors were open, fans would walk a ways to even make it to the stadium. But that's okay because everyone was excited and ready for the big game. It was enjoyable seeing some fans with some wild get-ups. They certainly go all out for the game! Fans were packing in the huge stadium, everyone was wearing the same colors, however, only a few that decided to try to pack in the same stadium, took their chances and put on their team colors and were there to support their "the other" team.
