Love - Two sides to the story????

Image
Isn't it just crazy how men and women perceive love differently?  Women feel love when their man only has eyes for them, when he tells them they are beautiful, and goes out of his way for her. Men feel love when their lady respects him, appreciates him, desires him and lets him know how important he is to her. I noticed that a negative cycle can happen if we aren't careful. This could be with any friendship/relationship that you have with anyone. You want to feel all of those things from the other person and if you don't, then you in turn don't give him/her the things they want to feel. A positive cycle can ALSO happen and that is two people loving and giving so much of each other that life is grand! Most of the time in relationships, people tend to become selfish and only want to give if they are given to. However, these things that we call "love" are good BUT is that really love? YES! How to Stay in the Game

While doing my walk/run at the park recently, I always decide before I get there if I want to work on speed, running hills, or combine the two. This particular day, I wanted to just run hills.  For two full weeks, I completely let myself eat whatever I wanted and did not exercise. I just ate whatever I wanted and  had the freedom (and time) to do other things besides exercise. And do you know what? THAT was the ONLY GOOD in the 2-weeks. THE BAD was that I didn't crave ANY foods that I usually don't let myself have "when on a diet" I want to eat chocolate cake, banana pudding, etc. BUT I ate so much junk and things that I REALLY wasn't even hungry for, it mad...

This time of year, while some are enjoying Christmas shopping, and wrapping presents, Christmas carols, and fun parties, there are others who are not having the jolliest of seasons. Some are hurting, while others are physically sick. Some are burying loved ones and others just don’t feel the joy they need to. We must all slow down and remember the REASON for the SEASON! It is the celebration of the birth of our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ!                 BECAUSE of God sending HIS ONLY SON for YOU, we can be joyous this Christmas season! THERE IS HOPE!  Never let Satan lie to you and tell you that there’s no reason to live. He doesn't want you happy. All he wants is to steal from you. He comes to steal, kill, and destroy! (John 10:10a) BUT THERE IS A REASON TO REJOICE and A REASON TO SHOUT!!!!  Jesus came and died SO THAT WE CAN LIVE!!!! (John 10:10b) Jesus came, by the Hol...
