Love - Two sides to the story????

Isn't it just crazy how men and women perceive love differently? 

Women feel love when their man only has eyes for them, when he tells them they are beautiful, and goes out of his way for her.
Men feel love when their lady respects him, appreciates him, desires him and lets him know how important he is to her.

I noticed that a negative cycle can happen if we aren't careful. This could be with any friendship/relationship that you have with anyone. You want to feel all of those things from the other person and if you don't, then you in turn don't give him/her the things they want to feel.

A positive cycle can ALSO happen and that is two people loving and giving so much of each other that life is grand!

Most of the time in relationships, people tend to become selfish and only want to give if they are given to. However, these things that we call "love" are good BUT is that really love?

YES! There ARE two sides to the story...it's not male or female. Husband or wife, mother and child or even best friends, ...it is in 1 Corinthians 13.

Love is not a feeling or emotion but we seem to base how we feel on how much love we give. But God tells us that 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. And this is ONLY the beginning. 

Did you see where it says NOTHING about "if my husband will show me that I am the most important person to him, I will love him?" No! It tells you to love him EVEN IF he DOESN'T show you that your the most important person.

I challenge you to stick with the 1st side of the story..1 Corinthians 13! It will cause you nothing else but more peace, more joy, more contentment, more everything than you've ever wanted.......and the GREATEST of these is LOVE!!!

I was at a football game recently and it was so exciting seeing all the fans dressed up in their favorite gear to cheer on their team.  Outside the stadium were tailgaters grilling up their best barbeque and playing games to pass the time away. After all, it was 5 hours till the gates opened. Funny how fast time flies when you keep yourself busy doing things that you love. Once the doors were open, fans would walk a ways to even make it to the stadium. But that's okay because everyone was excited and ready for the big game. It was enjoyable seeing some fans with some wild get-ups. They certainly go all out for the game! Standing STRONG

  Observing social media posts (and my own incident recently) - THUS THE REASON for this post! 😁 I've found majority of people who post are pitiful, selfish, weak little cry babies when it comes to different situations!   It's times we let our hair down and tell it like it is!!! It helps people when we are REAL about our self and different situations! We ALL have issues, even if you think that you do.I ASSURE YOU, you do!   AND THE bad part about it is SATAN KNOWS! He may see it better than YOU SEE IT! Mom Memories

It's amazing just how much you REALLY need your mom!  Your mom is always the one that you go to for every day questions, maybe cooking questions, maybe just needing knowledge about an issue. Whatever the case, it's awesome just to call your mom and say hello!  After mom (Bonnie Moore a/k/a Dear Grace) moved to Heaven last October, there's many emotions I've had to deal with. You think you're okay and then out-of-the-blue, something jars your memory and there goes the tears. You often catch yourself wanting to give her a call. My mom was a strong woman. I don't ever recall her being ill many times in her life. When she was sick, she would jump right back in the path of life and get busy.
